Was an Obama official’s staffer behind the big setup to frame Trump for alleged “collusion” with the Russians? It appears that the plot to frame the Trump campaign, and later the Trump administration, with a “collusion” charge was elaborate. It is alleged that it included many actors within the intelligence community as well many media personalities and current/former Obama administration oifcials working in concert.
According to a report by Big League Politics, “The Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya who set up Don Trump Jr. for a meeting in Trump Tower as part of a Fusion GPS plot was operating out of the Washington offices of Cozen O’Connor, a law firm run by an anti-Trump former Obama administration official whose super PAC donated to Hillary Clinton and Jeb Bush in the 2016 presidential election.”
That official is none other than Howard Schweitzer, seen in a YouTube video screengrab. As a managing partner Schweitzer is alleged to have been fully aware of the plot to frame Trump with this setup meeting and had even, according to the BLP report, started to lay the groundwork for this narrative when he claimed that if Trump won he would be investigated for ties to foreign powers, The fact someone from his office was the key figure in what is now regarded as a setup to frame Trump with a collusion claim is not a coincidence, it is alleged.
